Paul STEVENS Obituary

After what seemed a very short illness Paul passed away at Christchurch Hospital on May 7, 2025, surrounded by his Christchurch family, only 6.5 weeks after being diagnosed with cancer. Paul was a very much-loved husband of Lois, loved Dad of Kieran and loved future Dad-in-law of Jazzi.

Our hearts are truly broken.
Nothing can describe the emptiness of not having Paul with us.

We would have loved to thank everyone individually for the overwhelming love and support we have received, but the list is way too long. Kieran and I would like to give a special thanks to Paul's GP Louise Darwin and the team at 5b Christchurch Hospital.
A private cremation has been held and a celebration of Paul's life (one that Paul would approve of) will be held at a later date, date to be advised. Messages can be sent to [email protected]

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to Lois, Kieran, and especially Paul for the wonderful Christmas dinners and birthday lunches they so generously hosted at their beautiful homes over the years. I will truly miss seeing Paul's big smile in his party hat and hearing his jokes.

Paul was a devoted family man, a talented craftsman, and above all, a courageous person.

I was so saddened to hear of his passing.

Truly sorry to hear of Paul's illness and sudden passing. Paul always had an infectious smile and laugh when he came to see us at Mclean Angling. He became a friend.
