SMITH, Paul Vincent - On April 12, 2014, suddenly, peacefully, at Christchurch Hospital, aged 84 years. Loved husband of the late Mary (nee Robertson), father, father-in-law, and grandad of John Smith, Chanel Farrelly, Stella, Jack, Harry; Maureen Keen, Peter (deceased), Bernice; Stephen Smith, Mateawa Keelan, Joanie; Viv Smith, Dave Wilkins, Ben, Anna; Alex Smith, Helen, Cameron, and Kate. Brother of the late Colleen, Angela and Mark. Brother-in-law of Bob (deceased), Sandy and Bruce Robertson, and Jean Mundy.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Marist Messenger would be appreciated, and may be made at the service. A Requiem Mass for Paul will be Celebrated in Christ the King Catholic Church, corner Greers Road and Memorial Avenue, Burnside, on Easter Monday, April 21, at 11.00am. Interment at the Ashburton Cemetery, Bremners Road, Ashburton, on Tuesday, April 22, at 11.00am. Recitation of the Rosary will be held in the Church on Sunday, April 20, at 5.00pm.
