Helen CURRIE Obituary

CURRIE, Helen (""Lena"") Passed away peacefully, with daughters Margie Maukonen and Renee Buckland by her side, at Lakeland, Parry Sound, on Friday, June 15, 2018; Helen, in her 98th year. Was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland then she and her family moved to Newmarket, Ontario. Predeceased by her beloved husband Neil and sons Neil of BC and Allan of Newmarket. Favourite Aunt Lena to Jane Farquhar and family. Dear Gran to Norman Maukonen, Lenore Purdon, Neil Maukonen, Senga Griffin, Jordan and Jeremy Buckland, Cameron Currie and Devon Simpson. Great-Gran Currie of 16 and Great-Great-Gran of four. Also fondly remembered by family in Scotland, England and France. Following cremation, friends and relatives will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home Chapel, 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Wednesday, July 4 from 4 o'clock until the time of Memorial Service at 5 o'clock.
