I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. My condolences to Lynda and the family at this time. Paul Macdonald was a great man. He was not only an inspirational leader, but he also had the kindest heart and looked after those in his care. This included all of the staff at Merrin School when Paul was principal there. I can recall when my first grandparent passed away in 2007. Paul generously offered me extended leave - as much as I needed in order for me to have mourned and feel comfortable returning to work. He would do the same for anyone. Paul was a man of pure character and utter integrity, always fair and professional. Paul was a role model; his decisions were guided in principle and what is good and right. Paul's positive influence remains to this day, even in my new vocation outside teaching. Paul was a great leader and a friend, and a truly good man who will be dearly missed by those who knew him.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Paul's passing whilst I am overseas.
Paul counselled me recently and was so positive despite his challenges.
We were the same year at St. Bedes College and I felt an 'old School' bond with him. Take care Lynda and family. God bless you Paul. Denis Gilmour

Oh wow, love and condolences to the family. What a man, what a family, what a life, what a servant of our Lord Jesus Christ.Sue and I met Paul and Lynda 40 years ago when they prepared a young pagan and his bride to be for marriage at St Paul´s in Dallington. Unforgettable experience! God bless you Paul, finally at rest in the loving arms of our Lord.
