Paul David John (Charlie):
Charlie passed away March 28, 2023 at Christchurch Hospice surrounded by his loved ones, aged 56 years. Charlie was a son, father, brother, uncle, partner, farmer, drummer and artist. He was taken far too soon but he made a big impact on so many lives. He was the life of the party and he loved life.
He will forever be in our hearts and will be dearly missed. Rest in Peace, Charlie Jaine.
A beloved son of the late Alden and Beryl Jaine, loved and loving father of Connor and Ella, also brother of Sarndra, Denise and Mark and their families. Messages to: The Jaine family, c/- PO Box 6035, Ashburton 7742. At Charlie's request a private family service has been held.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Charlie.
He certainly will be remembered by all who knew him. He was a tremendous guy with a huge heart.
We will always of fond memories of Charlie the drummer.

Dear Jackie and all of Charlies lovely family we are so sad knowing Charlie has left this world but feel incredibly blessed to have met you all. Sometimes people meet in this life for a reason and I am certain that is what happened here. The connections with you all was so special. We are so lucky to have a beautiful piece of Charlies art to look at every day and remember this special man.
