I have worked with Paul for many years, dispatching to him was always a breeze, never said no to a job and always had a wee chat, very sadly missed.

Kirsty and I are so very sad to hear the news of Paul's sudden passsing.
Paul was so friendly and helpful - especially helping us out with our truck battery issues. Always smiling and asking how our day was going.
We always looked forward to seeing Paul on site - he would give us a wave and just brightened our day. We will miss his daily visits to our centre.
Our love and thoughts go to all the family at this difficult time.

"My heart is heavy as I think about losing my Uncle Paul. He was so smart, especially when it came to cars-he could fix anything and loved sharing what he knew. But more than that, he was kind, gentle, and full of love. He always made me feel cared for, and his warmth made every moment with him special. I´ll miss him deeply, but I´ll carry his love and lessons with me always."

He certainly made a normal day a lot happier. His Brother Ray will miss him dropping into his work and his sense of humor. Ray would come home and say Paul dropped into work today couldnt stay as he got a call, but he would be back at a later time and if Ray wasnt there Paul would leave a banana peel on something in the work yard. He was a legend with his jokes and his smile. He was a fantastic Uncle to all his nephews and nieces spending a huge amount of time in Karls's life when he was small. The world really seems empty already without you Paul. And like one of your neighbours said It was a pleasure to have you in our lives. x

My sincerest condolences to Paul´s family. Totally shocked by what I´ve just read. He´s definitely one out of the barrel. Paul became a customer at work when he 1st joined Caltex Wairakei. He was a great ambassador for when I started out on my own with referrals etc. Even done a couple of jobs at Wales St for him. Always time for a chatter or a beaming smile & wave from the AA wagon whilst crossing paths.
Paul will be missed by all who knew him.
Time to rest easy now buddy.

Nicki and Taylor, Freddie and I are devastated by this tragedy. Paul has been an integral part of our lives for 40+ years architecturally and mechanically. His dry sense of humour, accurate advice and ready smile were always a delight when we got together. Although motor vehicles were our main connection, I always looked forward to whizzing out to Lincoln for a service and a gossip. Our extended family pass on their condolences, Paul was their go-to man on many occasions.
