Thinking of our Dennehy cousins today as they celebrate the life of our Uncle Pat. I have many fond memories of visiting the cuzzies in Sawyer's Arms Road in Chch (including Uncle Cecil and Auntie Kay) at times too, Uncle Pat was always happy to share his fresh peas out of his garden with us! It's probably not that common for young nieces to be out late at night but I had many an evening when I was growing up and visiting Chch where my Grandma and I would go visit Uncle Pat at midnight onwards at various hotels around Chch - joys of being the night watchman - something Ashley and I did once we moved to Chch or whenever we were in town. Uncle Pat had a great sense of humour. May you rest in peace Uncle Pat.

I hate not knowing for sure what happens when you die. But I really love to believe there is a heaven past the sky.
