Operator - It is with deep sadness Pat's family announce his passing at Te Nikau Grey Hospital with his loving family by his side, on April 18, 2026, aged 77. Deeply loved and loving husband of Trish, dearly loved dad and father-in-law of Helen Creagh and Paul Emmerson, Philippa and Josh Nimmo, and Patrick and Jacinda, adored Grandad Pat and 'Gigi' of James, Maisie, Andy, Louis, Fleur, and Seb, cherished son of the late Martin and Eileen, loved brother and brother-in-law of Colman, Kevin and Heather, Cheryl, Christine, and the late Terry, Colleen and Frank Cleland, Brian and Joyce, Noleen and Leo Beard, Galvin and Joan, and Martin and Loreto, a respected and loved son-in-law of the late Andy and Phyllis Sinclair, a loved brother-in-law of Heather and Anselm Haanen, a much loved uncle, cousin and friend. Messages to 15 Rutherglen Road, Paroa 7805. A Funeral Service to celebrate Pat's life will be held in St Patrick's Catholic Church, High St, Greymouth, tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11.00am. Pat will then be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery, Gladstone.
