We were so sorry to hear of Patrick“s passing. Such a thoughtful, kind and gentle man who showed compassion to, and interest in, all those around him. He loved spending time with his dogs and in his garden. Happy memories of times spent with him on our visits to Christchurch.

I will never forget Pat's kindness to me.In 1971 I travelled from Wellington To Christchurch to do my Psychiatric Nursing Training at Sunnyside Hospital. Wellington was my home and i knew few people in the South .At that time Pat was Chaplain at Sunnyside
and he went out of his way to show me kindness and support. I have never forgotten him. May he rest now with the Lord and his wife Margaret in Perfect peace .

So sorry to read of Pat's passing, and the loss to his family. Pat was so helpful back when I was younger and I had my daughter Leah. I have not seen him for so long but he's been a friend for so long may he rest in piece.
