Patricia Ellen (Trish):
Gracefully passed away, at Nurse Maude Hospice, surrounded by her loved ones, on November 16, 2022, aged 65 years. Devoted wife of the late Chris, loved and treasured mum of Claudia and her partner Paulo, dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Christine and Steve Smith, Lynne (deceased) and Dave Terry, a much-loved cousin, aunt, great-aunt, and friend to many.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Christchurch Hospital Oncology Ward, St George's Cancer Care, and the team at Nurse Maude Hospice, for all their support and care of Mum. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Trish Townsend-Cassidy, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In memory of Trish donations to Nurse Maude Hospice, Christchurch, would be appreciated and can be made directly online at: nursemaude.org.nz. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Teresa's Catholic Church, 8 Puriri Street, Riccarton, on Tuesday, December 6, at 1.30pm, interment thereafter at the Yaldhurst Cemetery. The recitation of the Rosary will be held in St Teresa's Catholic Church on Monday, December 5, at 5.30pm.

It is so sad to hear of Trish´s passing, we worked together for many years at WRONZ, and carpooled together. She was a delightful gentle person, who was highly respected for her calming and caring ways.

Dear Trish
God must have been in desperate need, to have recalled you so early from your roll with us, and into his services as an angel.
While you no longer walk among us, it brings a smile to know you will continue to watch over us.
Your spirit is strong and you have been with me as I ventured into the unknown. During the most chaotic period in my new venture, I felt the calmest I have ever been. You are my calming rock!
If I can feel your presence over the alps, then I have no doubt your presence will reach me from heaven above.
Stretch your angel wings and glide through heaven in peace, knowing the lives you have touched are better for having known you.
