Patricia SAIL Obituary

Aged 86 years. It is with deep sadness we announce that Pat passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Christchurch Public Hospital after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Ian for 63 years. A much cherished mum of Julie and the late Shawn, Murray and Debbie and adored granny to Henry and Jack, Millie and Brittany. Loved eldest daughter of the late Agnes and Laurence Watkins and sister and sister-in-law to the late Linore and Ken Broadfoot, Bill and Marilyn, the late Geoffrey, Christine and Kevin and Christopher and Michelle. Loved daughter-in-law of the late Hugh and Flora Sail, sister-in-law of the late Noel and June, the late Ray and Lil, the late Alister and Betty, and the late Barry and Lynn. A much loved auntie to all her nieces and nephews. A great friend to many. Pat's family wish to send their heartfelt thanks to all the Christchurch Hospital staff, St John's and the doctors and team at Southside Health for the compassionate care of Pat. In lieu of flowers, donations made to St John's in Pat's name would be appreciated. In accordance with Pat's wishes, a private celebration of her life has been held.
