Brian R. Morris Sr., 34, formerly of Scottdale, passed away Tuesday morning, May 11, 2004, in Tallahassee Memorial Health Care Center, Tallahassee, Fla. Brian was born Jan. 9, 1970, in Connellsville, a son of Deborah A. Garrity Morris Chaney, of Scottdale, and the late Donald R. Morris, who passed away in May of 1981. Brian was a loving son, grandson and father. He was currently employed with Bill Young Asphalt Paving Company, working in the Tallahassee area. Years ago, he was affiliated with the Greenwood United Methodist Church, Connellsville. Brian will be sadly missed by his family: his mother, Deborah A. Garrity Morris Chaney and his stepfather, Edward M. Chaney, of Scottdale; his two sons, Brian R. Morris Jr. and Bryce R. Morris, both of Greensburg; a stepsister, Annette Chaney, of Brownsville; a stepbrother, James Chaney, of Dawson, and their children; his maternal grandmother, Geraldine Stape and husband, George, of Mt. Pleasant; his paternal grandparents, Betty and Orville Burnsworth, of Connellsville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph W. Garrity, in 1974. Family and friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the ROBERT B.
