To the McKenzie family. In 1968 we came to New Zealand. Our first home was in Beverly Rd, right next door to you. Your Mum was such an amazing welcoming lady. She helped my mother settle in giving her handy hints and recipes. Fiona and my brother Andrew used to listen to Kate Harcourt on the radio and and had celery sprinkled with salt for morning tea. I have many happy memories of the May and August holidays playing in the big tree in the back garden. I can only say that we were privileged to know her.

Very sorry that we will be unable at attend Patsy´s funeral. An old family friend and the author of so many special books including "The Barkers Story - the first 30 years"
