Patricia Le COMTE Obituary

24.01.1951 – 20.08.2024
Mother of Melva, Tony, and Leon. Grandmother of Tim, Krystelle, Kath, Jaidyn, Keegan, and Sam. Weep not for me, as it was a life poorly lived, I am happy to be free of the struggle, and the painful broken body. I look forward to a happier and healthier incarnation next time. Scatter me freely, my children, in places you enjoy, and remember the good things I shared with those around me, for it was not all bad times. At my request, a private cremation has been held.

Mum to Melva and Nana to Tim, Kath and Sam, Mother-in-law to Nigel. Our mum passed away with family and loved ones holding her hands and telling her how much we loved her. She was tenacious and determined and peacefully passed. Trish was a staunch friend, community supporter, foster Mum, and a haven for cats. She lived and loved fiercely. Thank you for the years of loving our mum, and sharing in her laughter, conversations, and journey. She appreciated you all very much. A memorial will be held at a later date followed by a tōtara planting in the Akaroa Heritage Park in our family grove of tōtara.
