On April 6, 2026, aged 88 years. Gae passed away peacefully at Elderslea Rest Home. Daughter of the late Harry and Gwen Pateman. Loved wife of the late George. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Susan and Lindsay, and Michael and Kathy. Loved Grandmother of Rachel, Melissa, Amy and Ruby, and Great-Grandmother of Penelope, Fred and Rosalie. Loved sister to the late Pam, Brian, Margaret and David. Loved sister-in-law and aunty. Special thanks to the staff at Elderslea Rest Home for their care of Gae.
A funeral for Gae will be held in Kingswood, cnr King and Cairo Streets, Upper Hutt, on Friday, April 10 at 2.00pm.

Sad to hear of Gae's passing. Another one of my ever diminishing Sefton school class mates gone, as it's only about three weeks since we attended Gae's younger sister Pam's funeral. Condolenses to both the Grenfell and Pateman families.
