Pamela HINDIN-WHITEWOOD Obituary
It is with great sadness that we farewell our dear mother and step-mother, granny and great-granny. Pamela died peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026, after a short illness, following a serious stroke in 2024. She was surrounded by loved ones. Pamela was still grieving her dear darling David. Pamela leaves behind a legacy of great love and kindness. The funeral will be held on Monday, February 23, at 3.00pm, at St Mark's, Opawa, with a reception afterwards. Livestream will be available. All are welcome. In lieu of cut flowers please bring a plant - flowering, native or otherwise, or donate to Christchurch City Mission or Forest and Bird.

I met Pamela through David. I worked for him for 14 years in the 1960's and we have been friends since then, we go back 60 years.
Pamela has been such a kind caring person since meeting her and I have been visiting them at Chatswood. I was so sorry she had her stroke and never recovered her speech . Rest in peace Pamela.
