Owen MORGAN Obituary

Dear Mary, & girls, It was very sad to hear of Owens passing. He was a great person. & will be sadly missed. I have sent a card to Garden Rd. Bonnie Morgan.

It was with sadness that we noted the news of the death of Owen. His life was " well lived". He was an important figure in the optical industry in Christchurch, and New Zealand, and was valued and respected by many. Dad ( Ed) and Owen would often work together to find products that were smart and state of the art for patients. Getting licenses to import goods wasn't easy in the early days. He was skilled in people and product management. He was always a gentleman.

Deeply saddened by the news that the gentleman that I considered to be my inspiration, my mentor and my friend has gone. To Mary and the family - Lynda, Katie and I pass on our sincere condolences.

Such a gentlemen and so sorry to hear of his passing. Owen gave me my opportunity in an industry that gave me so much and I will always have such fond memories of my time at Morgan and Hall with Owen. Such great times. My condolences go out to Mary and family.
