MACDONALD,
Olive Rose (nee Morrison):
Born December 3, 1921, in Birkdale, Auckland. Passed away peacefully on January 25, 2021, at St Albans Retirement Village, Christchurch, in her one hundredth year. Cherished wife of the late Alister, beloved mother of Judy and Roger Raymer (Texas), Bruce and Vicky (Auckland), Graham and Sheryn (Christchurch), Alan and Jasmin (Leigh), prayerful grandmother to Stephen and Lindsay Raymer, Kathryn and Joe Proctor, Mark and Michael Ann Raymer; Alex and Elliot; Daniel and Emily, Brad and Helen, Rebecca; Abby, Sam and Chrissy, great-grandmother to Anna Claire and Ella Rose; Sophie, Jachin and Chaplan; Quinn; Augustin (Gus). Olive was the last of her generation; brave, funny and faithful to the end. Now rejoicing in Heaven with the Lord. The family would like to thank St Albans Retirement Village for their excellent care of Olive and Rutland Street Church for many years of pastoral support. A Funeral Service to farewell Olive will be held in the Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Friday, January 29 at 10.00 am, followed by private interment.
