Peacefully after a wonderfully full life of 96 years. Beloved and loving husband of the late Beth for 70 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Michael and Allison, and Sue and Rory. Much loved and very proud grandfather of William, Lucy, and Edward, and adoring great-grandfather of Jack. Our thanks to Elmswood Retirement Village staff for their loving care of Norm and their support for the family. Messages for the West Family may be sent c/- John Rhind, 19 London Street, Richmond, Christchurch 8013. A celebration of Norm's life will be held at 1.00pm on Tuesday, November 5, in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from Whitmore and London Streets, Richmond, Christchurch (because of roadworks, access to London Street may still be from the Stanmore Road end only).
