Norman HEWINSON Obituary
Peacefully passed away at Wesley Care on June 10, 2024. After a long battle which he fought bravely to the end, on his 77th birthday. Loved son of the late Keith and Grace Hewinson. Loved brother of Judith, Russell, Rosalie and Margaret and of his predeceased siblings Bill, Donald, Jill, Terry, Faye, Robert and Phillip. Treasured uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Many thanks to Wesley Care for their devoted care in his last days. A special mention to Mari, Anne-Maree, Andy and Judith for your care and attention over the past months, also Jurgen for your friendship over many years. Messages may be addressed to the family of the late Norman Hewinson to 46A Wychbury Street, Christchurch 8024. At Norman's request a funeral will not be held. However for those who wish to remember him, a get together will be held at the Papanui Club at 2.30pm on July 6, 2024.

I remember well your cheeky grin and the fun times at the Redwood Hotel and the mighty arguments over cards over the years.. You will be missed by those who knew you well.... RIP mate.. your ex sister in law Sharren xx
