Norman DEWES Obituary
18 April 1945 - 31 December 2023
E ngā mana, e ngā reo, ngā maunga tapu, ngā maunga kōrero, ngā awa rērere, ngā tai timu, ngā tai pari, puta noa i te motu, tēnā koutou katoa. He reo mihi tēnei nō te whānau Dewes me te whānau Ngata e tangi atu nei.
Otirā e kore he kupu kotahi e hāngaia mō tō mātou aroha noa ki a koutou katoa. Tēnā rā koutou, tēnā koutou, tēnā koutou katoa.
Mauri ora ki a koutou
On behalf of the Dewes, Henry and Ngata whānau, I wish to express our most sincere and heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all who have supported us since our beloved Norm's passing. Whether in person, spirit or online, we thank you for celebrating Norm's life with us in Ōtautahi and Wairoa. The overwhelming number of messages, flowers, koha and tributes we have received are a testament to the sheer reach and quality of the influence Norm had in the lives of those he crossed paths with. To the most vulnerable members of our communities, the powerful, and everyone in-between, Norm was unforgettable. As a whānau, our lives will never be the same and what helps drives us is the opportunity to build on the outstanding legacies Norm has left for us and all who respect his heart and visions.
Ngā mihi aroha
Crystal Dewes and Linda Ngata
