Nona FOLEY Obituary

On June 15, 2024, in her 97th year, Nona passed peacefully at Saint Allisa Lifecare, Christchurch. Dearly loved wife of the late William and a dearly loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A sincere thank you to the wonderful staff at St Allisa for their compassion, care and love for Nona for the last four and a half years. A private cremation has been held. A long life well lived.

My condolences to Cathy, Chris and Simon, and all the extended family who were a big part of my life for many years.
Nona was my mother-inlaw for 20+ years and we always kept in touch through Niki's and my children and her grandchildren. She was a fine and gracious person. She and Bill were wonderful in-laws and attentive loving grandparents, sharing many occasions and fond memories. With Nona's passing it is the end of an era and reminds us how quickly time passes, may you rest in peace.

I knew Nona through a working relationship with her son, Chris. I only saw her on the odd occasion but she was immensely likeable and just a lovely person. I liked his Dad too. Chris can be proud of his parents as they were of him.
