Noeline MACKIE Obituary
On June 12, 2023, peacefully after a short illness at Lady Wigram Retirement Village, aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of Ian, loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Bruce and Kate, Chris and Pete, Liz and Dave, Bev, Pete and Carolyn, much loved Nana of Kirstin, Kelly, Jeff, Mike, Simon, Kate and Scott, and Great-Nana of 9. Special thanks to the Lady Wigram staff who cared for Noeline over the past couple of years. In lieu of flowers, donations to Breast Cancer Foundation NZ would be appreciated and may be made at the service. Messages may be addressed to the family of the Late Noeline Mackie, c/o Hope Funerals Christchurch, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042. A memorial service to celebrate Noeline's life will be held at Hope Presbyterian Church, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, on Monday, June 19, at 10.00am.

It is with a saddened heart that I hear of Noeline´s passing. She was such an awesome person and I know it will leave a big hole in Ian´s heart and the rest of the family. Sending warm hugs and comfort at this time of loss. I look forward to seeing her again in heaven. May she rest in peace and a peace that surpasses all understanding encompass the whole family!

Sharing in your sadness at this awful time. I remember growing up knowing Noeline (and Ian), they were always kind, caring and showed an interest in knowing how I was doing. My only solace is Matthew 11:28-30. With sympathy and love.
