Noel Francis (Noelsy):
On December 2, 2021, passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Sharron, adored father and father-in-law of Amy and Steve Blyth, Lorna and Ralph Hobbs, Beth and Michael, Megan and Brendan Phillis, and Quinn. Loved 'Grandad Noelsy' of Riley, Jake, and Elsie; George, and Freddie; Harry and Adeline; Keira and Kaden. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Kathleen, Terry (deceased), and Marie and Michael Gourdie. Dearly loved Uncle, cousin, coach and mentor, neighbour and good mate.

Grateful thanks to Dr Peter Wilkinson at Templeton Medical Centre, Access and Nurse Maude staff for their care, a special thanks to Dr Raj Kumar, and nursing staff at St George's Cancer Care Unit. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Noel Hickland, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at the service or online at www.cancer.org.nz. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick's Catholic Church, 31 Gerald Street, Lincoln, on Tuesday, December 14, at 11.00am, followed by family only interment at Yaldhurst Cemetery at 2.00pm. Vaccine Passes will be required.

Dear Sharron,
Just a note to let you know we have been thinking of you and the family over the past few days. Gus keeps remembering Noels sporting prowess and also his love of rugby and I your and Noels family centred approach to life. I am sure you are being repaid now and surrounded by family.
