Noel FINCH Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Lady Wigram Retirement Village, on July 25, 2025, in his 93rd year. Much loved husband of Irene (deceased), and father and father-in-law of Bruce and Leonie (Sydney), and grandfather to Ravenna and Hunter. Thanks to the Lady Wigram staff for their wonderful kindness and care. Messages to the Finch family, c/- PO Box 111-01, Sockburn, Christchurch 8443. A memorial service to celebrate Noel's life will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, Christchurch, on Saturday, August 9, at 11.00am. Flowers respectfully declined.

Bruce, Leonie, Ravenna and Hunter, sincere condolences to you you all. Noel filled me in on many gaps in the Finch clan family history. He will be for ever remembered by our family, especially his links to Fiji.

Sincere condolences to Bruce and family. Noel (Stalky) was a dear friend of many years. A treasured member of the "Broom Cupboard" social group that included friends from all branches of the aviation industry at Christchurch Airport.
