In Christchurch on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Dearly loved wife of the late Robert William Henry. Beloved daughter of the late Alan and Iris Guiney. A much loved and loving friend to many. Messages to the family of Jan Henry, c/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. At Jan's request, a private cremation has been held.

Thinking of Jan today on which would have been her 98th Birthday. I met Jan and Bob 35 years ago while camping in Queenstown, thay were both great people and we remained good friends over the years. We shared many great moments together and will miss the catch ups when we visit Christchurch. Thanks for all the great memories and the special moments we shared together.

Jan was my first "boss" when I entered the workforce to Point Elizabeth Coal Co, and taught and trained me to work with diligence, respect, and thoroughness. I thank her for these gifts which I have maintained throughout my life, and which have stood me in good stead.
Her and Bob were lovely, kind, and generous people.
Thank you for my sound start in my working life.
