Nigel, we treasure your input to our team over the years, the friendship, coffee catchups and trading tramping stories. We will miss you popping by to check in.

To Nigel's family and friends
I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Nigel worked and fought tirelessly to find a way to help me when I was so unwell in 2018 and for this my family and I are eternally grateful. Nigel saved my life. He was an incredible doctor who will never be forgotten.
My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

He gave my husband Geoff eighteen months of life . He gave me time to stay goodbye. A wonderful doctor and a kind and gentle man. I am so very sorry for the loss of such a good man.

To the Family of Nigel Patton. On behalf of the Akaroa Mens Shed we wish to convey our condolences to you all on the passing of Nigel. Whilst Nigel was a member of The Shed for some time, he was not a regular attender, however when he was there we really enjoyed his company and would often have a great discussion on topics of the day and of course he was very knowledgeable on things related to the medical field which he was an expert in but also on his thoughts about the Health System and the financial mismanagement of. I have been asked by the Mens Shed to advise if you require assistance in anyway around the property please feel free to contact us as we will most certainly be happy to help out. Regards to you all at what we all know will be a somewhat difficult time for you all. John Petrie, Secretary Akaroa mens Shed Trust.
