On Monday, February 2, 2026, suddenly at the Camelot Motel, aged 72 years. Dearly loved husband of Debbie, respected and adored father and father-in-law of Lee Danny, Martine, Madi, Campbell and Hamish. Loving grandad to his grandchildren Maisie, Harley, Pepper, and Pax. Special thanks to the staff at the Camelot Motel who cared for Nigel on that dreadful night. Your support has been greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Friends of the Museum, The French Festival and Hinewai would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Funeral Service for Nigel will be held at the Gaiety Hall, Akaroa, on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 11.30am, followed by tea and coffee in the dining area.
