Dear Niki,
Where to start. I met you when I was 3, 30years ago and we became neighbours, you were not just my neighbour you were my mentor, like my guardian angel steering me with wisdom and hope and love I grew as a child teen and adult all my life it feels like with you just across the road ready to help with any advice I needed you could help me with anything. Nothing was too much for you. You were an amazing mum and yaya and daughter and a loving family member to all. Your dog ate my shoes once and you came running in so apologetic and offering me your shoes as a substitute. I wasn't sad about the shoes I just saw the bite marks and just kind of cracked up. Your house was so fun and filled with so many adventures. You were so beautiful and fun, how could I fill your shoes really? You are amazing in every way. Kind thoughtful caring, compassionate filled with life wonder adventure and so much wisdom. I will forever miss you and hold you in my heart like a second mum and a constant in my life I will never forget you. Rest in peace.

Knowing you Niki, as an amazing, loyal, supportive friend for over thirty years. A wonderful, unique, inspiring, passionate woman, with such a good sense of humour. A great mum to Gemma and Evana. You will always be in my heart. I look forward to seeing you again, my dearest friend, love Rose x

Gemma and Evana I am so sorry to hear this news. I live at 46 Gibbon Street and always loved a wee chat with your Mum. She was a very kind sensitive soul who enjoyed her privacy and I respect her choices. I will miss seeing her, her smile and a wave and having a cuppa on occasions. I am sorry I won't be able to be there on Friday as I will be overseas. Thinking of you all at this sad time may she rest in peace. Kindest regards to you all Robyn
