Nicola BEATTIE Obituary
Nicola Jane (Nicki):
On August 15, 2021, passed away peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice, aged 63 years, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly and much loved wife of Roger, adored mother of Robert, Andrew, and Steph, loved sister and sister-in-law of Sally and David, Robyn and Jim; Ivan and Linda, loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Thanks to the friends and family who have been a big part of Nicki's life, and a special thanks to those who have supported Nicki through her journey over the last two years. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Nicki Beattie, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Donations to Nurse Maude Hospice would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Service to celebrate Nicki's life will be held at Rossendale, 100 Old Taitapu Road, Christchurch, on Friday, August 20, at 2.00pm, private cremation thereafter.

It has been such a pleasure to work with Nicki over the last ten months. I really admired her openness to complementary therapies as well as her ongoing strength, especially as her health deteriorated. She was one of those clients with whom it was a real privilege to work. Love and light, Nicki.

Me te aroha tino nui atu ki te whanau o Nicki. The short time I knew Nicki I found her to be incredibly brave and pragmatic with a dry sense of humor always positive and uplifting. Nicki was caring of others but what I admired about her the most was her open minded approach to health and wellbeing. This would have been very difficult to do coming from the medical world. People like her will always stay in the hearts of those who she came in contact with. Sending you the family, love and strength at this time.
