A wonderful man, who I remember fondly running twilight golf prize giving at Russley Golf Club, when I worked there in hospitality x

He was my House Master at Christs College back in the 1980s. He was always so supportive and had a great, and unique, sense of humour. I never had him as an English teacher, but friends commented on his amazing knowledge and ability to make rather mundane topics interesting. My condolences to the family.

Nick wouldn't like me saying this, but to me a mighty English oak has just moved to the edge of the field and will always provide great company, and shelter when the cricket's rained off

A great supporter of Russley golf. Spent many hours walking the fairways. Proud to be a Monday mate and share interesting stories with him. He will be missed by many.
