Nicholas GREENWOOD Obituary

On January 3, 2026 at Christchurch Hospital, aged 57 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Sara, adored dad of Joel and Emily, Anna and Aidan, Jamin and Brenna and the late Micah. Very proud Papi to Harvey, August, Eli and Adeline. A loved son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. The service to honour Nick will be held at Riccarton Baptist Church, on Friday, January 9, at 11.00am. An interment will follow at 2.30pm at Kirwee Cemetery, Hoskyns Rd, Kirwee. All welcome.

"For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror.
Then, we shall see face to face."

Dear Sara and family... we are so sad to hear dear Nick has passed away. Please be assured of our love and prayers for you all. Nick is such a beautiful man and you will miss him immensely. We have both been impacted by his life and we are richer for having known him and the gracious way he treated others. We pray that Gods loving arms will hold you close. Sorry we can't be with you as you celebrate his life today. Love to you all xx

Yesterday

Our memory of Nick is of a gracious and gentle man. A man of faith during difficult times. A man who several weeks ago spoke words of encouragement into my spirit. Words that impacted me.
Unfortunately we are unable to attend his service tomorrow.
