On October 6, 2014, peacefully at Hospice Southland, aged 77 years, dearly loved wife of Neil Conrad (Conrad); sister of Margaret, sister and sister-in-law of Murray and Gladys, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Alistair and Carol (Auckland), Craig and Clare (London), Brett and Nancy (Mudgee); loved grandmother of Ben and Jack; Fergus and Hamish; Brooke and Safara. A special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Hospice Southland for their care and support of mum over the last few days. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service to celebrate Ngarita's life which will be held at the Harewood Memorial Gardens and Crematorium, corner Wilkinsons and Johns Rd, Christchurch, on Friday, October 10, at 2.30pm.

Conrad, lovely man and great family, Alistair, Craig and Brett and all your families, but particularly for us, Ben and Jack...because you are so inextricably bound up in our children's young lives...we are so sorry to hear of the passing of your wonderful Ngarita. She was such a welcoming and generous giver of time and care to us all. Because we have only just heard of this today we are so sorry we will not be able to be at Ngarita's service tomorrow to share your load and extend our deepest love and affection to you all. Please know that you are in out hearts and that we fold you up in our warmest embrace. We hold the fondest memories of you through this time and always and will be with you in spirit tomorrow.
