Died peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice, surrounded by family, on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Dearly loved wife of John for 63 years. Loved mother of Dean and Wendy, and the late Stephen. Much loved mother-in-law of Rachel and Robin. Grandmother of Tia and Dane.

She will be sorely missed.

A celebration of Ngaire's life will be held at the Harewood Chapel, Wilkinsons Road, Harewood, Christchurch, on Tuesday, January 20, at 1.00pm.

Ngaire will be sadly missed at bowls. She was an amazing help at Blind bowls Canterbury coaching, guiding and her famous apple shortcake . RIP OUR FRIEND
