My condolences to the family. I first met Nevis in 1956 when I was a dental student in Dunedin. In those days 2nd year students were assigned to final year students and I had the good fortune to be assigned to Nevis. We became friends and met on many occasions and in many places after that. A lovely man whose company I always enjoyed.

I am very saddened to learn of the passing of Nevis. My thoughts and sympathy go to his family.
Nevis was my first and best ever employer at the Sophia Street Dental Practice from 1962 to 1966. He was an esteemed and considerate person to his employees and patients alike. Although our paths have not crossed since then I was fortunate to work with Nevis and have such a positive start to my working life.
