Neroli BUXTON Obituary

So sorry to hear of Neroli's passing. Remembering all those happy times when our girls were young and the times we spent at school and hockey events together with all the other 'Mums'.

To Neroli's Wilson Family and her Buxton Family.
Many years ago Snowy Wilson sat at our Weedons' kitchen table and suggested to my mother, Marie Manion, that it would be a good idea if I joined the Wilson family for their beach holiday. I was most excited about the prospect of meeting Neroli and her brother Warwick and staying at their bach.
It was the most wonderful of holidays and Neroli was the most sharing and kind person. I have never forgotten the Wilson warmth. It was with sadness that I learnt from my brother Michael of Neroli's passing. I had always hoped for a reunion with Neroli...When we spoke on the phone; about a year ago, Neroli's warmth shone through. My sincere condolences at this sad time. It is said that memories are our winter roses_____Neroli is one of mine.

Best friend ever! I will cherish the many laughs Neroli and I shared. The highs, the lows we battled through. We gave each other strength when we needed it and passed it on to others. Such a big gap she has left in my life but i can always find her in my heart and my memories. Our love and compassion to Nerolis family and many, many thanks for your friendships. We will keep sharing our stories together, freshening and adding to our memories. Arohanui. Bless xx

My last memory was seeing Neroli and her brother Warwick having a cuppa in Darfield Bakery. Neroli was a gracious person, wore bright colours, a friend to all and baked the most delicious fruit cake.
