PIERCE, Nellie:
(formerly of Hawarden, North Canterbury) passed away after a short illness at Teviot Valley Rest Home, Roxburgh, on Friday, February 10, 2017, aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Ted. Much loved mum and mother-in-law of Joyce and Geof Brown (Cromwell), Colleen and Graeme Ramsay (Hawarden), Barbara and Kent Blackler (Roxburgh), and Susan and Graeme Dwyer (Geraldine). Loved Grandma and Nana Nell of Doug, Hamish and Allannah, Maree and Jack, Katie, Lisa and Paul, Hayden and Nick. A cherished Great-Grandmother to her 19 Great-Grandchildren. A celebration of Nellie's life will be held at St James Presbyterian Church, Allendale Road, Hawarden, on Friday, February 17, at 1.30pm, followed by a private interment. Donations to the Teviot Valley Rest Home are welcome and may be left at Nellie's service. Messages to PO Box 76, Hawarden 7348.
