Neil WOOD Obituary

On Sunday, July 16, 2023, peacefully, aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Judy for over 60 years, loved Dad and father-in-law of Jeff and Sharron, Christine and Kevin, much loved Grandad of Logan, Ashleigh, Connor, Josh, Kendall and Tom, loved and respected friend to many. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Neil Wood, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. The celebration of Neil's life will be held at our Oaklands Chapel, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Friday, July 21, at 10.30am.

Hi Judy , I'm very sorry to Hear of Neil's death .
Although I hadn't got to know him terribly well , the times I did spend with him were memorable for his friendliness towards me , his sharp wit and sense of humour , and his warmth as a host .
I am thinking of you st this time and hope you are ok .

Too many memories to share, growing up with Neil he was more like an older brother than our Uncle, then as we all grew older he became our special "old Uncle", we will miss you Neil, we certainly had some fun times over the years and will continue to remember them with love. Special hugs to Judy
