Neil GILLON Obituary
On December 5, 2021, peacefully at home, aged 68 years. Dearly loved brother of Fergus, Bev, Lyndsay and his twin brother David, and their families.
Neil has run the race well
and is now in the arms of his Saviour and Lord.
The family wish to thank all the medical staff who cared for him while he took this journey. Messages may be addressed to the family of Neil Gillon, c/- Hope Funerals Christchurch, 27 Amyes Road, Christchurch 8042. A service to celebrate Neil's life will be held at Grace Vineyard Church, Ferry Road, Christchurch, on Thursday, December 9, at 11.00am. The family wishes are that due to COVID-19 requirements, vaccination passes will need to be presented on arrival. The service will be live-streamed at https://vimeo.com/event/1628472/00042d037f

My condolences to Neil's family. He led our youth group at Lower Hutt fellowship (I'm in that ski trip picture, thanks Suzanne); he was a man of integrity, and was always available when support was needed. Well done good & faithful servant.

Very sad to read of Neil´s passing in today´s Dominion Post. I attended Lower Hutt Christian Fellowship with Neil back in the late 1980s/early 1990s, he was our youth group leader so Sunday nights were spent having fellowship at his home, I remember Neils passion for Jesus and how he regularly went to India with our Pastor -Barry Galloway, this photo here is from when the Youth group went up the Mountain one year, we stayed at a ski lodge in Ohakune. My very deepest condolences to all of Neil´s family and friends at this sad time. Now with Jesus whom he loved and faithfully served.
