To Chris and family,
I was so sorry to hear about Nancye.Such a great loss.
As part of our nursing class I have many great memories of that time, especially Hostel life. Nancyes vivacious personality, love of dance, and music, her sense of humour, and some great hair do-ups. She had great passion for life.
Sincerest regards,
Lydia Carr

A computer problem prevented me from saying a word about Nancye's beauty as a human being--though I'm certain that anybody who knew her through international Church work knew this. I'm grieving on the sabbath here in Sydney. After a lovely lunch with my daughter on Mother's Day I'm filled with grief, despite believing that Nancye would have gone straight to Heaven after her long battle with cancer. My prayers for her help, now that she is with God, continue. . .

Following Chris's phone call two days ago, I've been praying and reflecting. Nancye and I met some years ago on the oval at Redfield College in Dural, and after that we were in touch by email and phone--chiefly, about matters affecting the Church globally. We last saw each other in December 2012 when she was in intensive care, yet up and about. My son Steve and his Em, who live with their baby daughter on a family farm closer to Leeston than Christchurch, drove me to and from the hospital, where they briefly met Nancye. I could not possibly ever forget her.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Nancye Price. I remember the evening when I took this picture of Nancye and Pauline. Nancye was a great example of Christ serving others. Anne and I have many fond memories of the personal attention and love that Nancye showed us during our visit to New Zealand. She stayed with us the entire time that we were there. She not only made sure that we were taken care of during the Eucharistic Convention 2004, but she also ensured that we got to see as much of your beautiful country as possible during our short stay. We will always remember Nancye as a loving and caring person. May the soul of Nancye Price, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace!

Chris, your family and the Boyce family my love, sympathy and prayers go out to you at his time of your great loss.
As a young Marist Brother in ChCh in 1969 I was one of many welcomed into the Boyce family home in Clarence St. Young Nancye was a gem. A beautiful daughter and sister who cared so much for her parents who both had major health struggles. In later years as a Priest in Auckland we crossed paths many times and she challenged me! Her devotion and commitment to her faith and care of the unborn was beyond admiration it was incredible. Nancye you have been a great gift of love and life to so many, not the least your family. I am one of hundreds to have been blessed by knowing you. If you are not now Saint Nancye the rest of us have little hope. I pray you are reunited with Joyce, Harold and Kevin. May all your family now be blessed by you in their loss. With love, Michael
