NEWLAND, Nancy Joyce:
Passed away peacefully, March 17, 2022, at The Croft, Timaru; aged 95. Daughter of Charles and Alice Hulme (both deceased), and sister of Betty, Esmay (deceased), and June. Loving wife of Harold Newland (deceased) and mother of Jan and Alan Robertson (Timaru), Philip and Glenda (Timaru), and Vicki Stafford (Hobart); grandmother of Stephen and Meg Bromley (Christchurch), Belinda and Darren Wilson (Gold Coast), Barton and Katie Bromley (Christchurch, ex. San Francisco); Kane and Laura Newland (Timaru), Gemma and Hayden Barker (Pleasant Point); Geordie and Alicia Stafford (Rome), Reuben and Ainsley Stafford (Brisbane); Siobhan Stafford and Simon Egan (Hobart), and Murdoch Stafford (Brisbane), and great-grandmother of Jade, Holly, Ashley; Ayden, Courtney, Bella; Ethan, Stella; Asha, Beauden, Judd; Jack, Hazel; Marnie, Freddie; Nikolai, Cillian; and Phoebe. A huge thank you to staff of both Margaret Wilson Rest Home and The Croft, Timaru, for their care and guidance to Nancy. A private cremation has taken place.
