Nancy MEATES Obituary

MEATES, Nancy Rae:
Died on July 8, 2017, at Christchurch Hospital, aged 93 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill. A much loved mother and mother-in-law of Trish and Andrew Dakers, Mary and Glenn Olive, Annie Meates and Murray Andrews, Lizzie Meates and Trevor Wilkinson, Kate and Simon McMahon, Jenny and David Dillon, David and Julie Meates, Kristy Meates and Sean Mulholland, Tony Meates, and Bernie and Perry Jackson. A cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr Erin Moran and to the staff at Golden Age, Anthony Wilding Special Care Unit, and Ward 24 Christchurch Hospital for the loving and respectful care they gave to Mum, and their support for our family. A Requiem Mass for Nancy will be Celebrated at St Gregory's Catholic Church, 26 Cotswold Ave, Bishopdale, Christchurch, Tomorrow (Thursday), July 13, at 1.00pm, followed by interment at Ruru Lawn Cemetery. A Vigil will be held at the Church This Day (Wednesday), at 5.30pm.
