Murray STOTT Obituary

(aka known as Major Tom or simply 'The Major" to some)
Taken on December 9, 2024 by a rare brain disease that will now become part of The Human Brain Bank. Precious son of the late Williamina (nee Sutherland) and Walter Cossgrove Stott. Devoted father of Marissa Stott who always found his brain rather curious even before the PSP! Former husband and friend of Katherine, close friend of Mat Robertson. We would like to acknowledge how eternally grateful we are for the love and care that Dad received from Sarah Selwyn Care Home. In time, there will be a memorial gathering at the Hilton Auckland, where Murray pretty much spent all of his money!!

Condolences to Murray´s family at this sad time, Murray worked with us for a few years selling illuminated signs the length of the country, there were not many outlets along they way who could refuse his offer, never missing for words and enthusiasm. A real character
Rest easy Murray

Sad that he left us without being able to have more lunches with him. Lots of good and funny times over 30 odd years working with him in London and seeing him back in nz.
