Murray SPARKS Obituary

On March 24, 2025, at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by family, aged 65 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Adele, proud 'Papa Bear' of Kirsten, loved son of the late Eric and Barbara Sparks, loved brother of Bruce, Liz, Michael, and Warren, loved son-in-law of the late Les and Margaret Sword, loved brother-in-law of Ronald, and Jeffrey, and a loved uncle, cousin, colleague, and friend. Special thanks to the Oncology staff, and the nursing team of Ward B5, Christchurch Hospital, for their outstanding care and support. A service to celebrate Murray's life will be held in our Oaklands Chapel, corner of Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Monday, March 31, at 2.00pm. Due to road works on Halswell Junction Road, access is only via Wigram Road, off Dunbars Road.
