I am so sorry to hear of your loss Sue and Murray and families,
no thing can prepare us for the loss of a child, Hamish was a super young man.

A tragedy. I am so sorry for the loss of Hamish´s entire family. No words can adequately express my condolences. RIP Hamish.

Our hearts break for the family of Hamish. Such a lovely guy, who's company we enjoyed over the years. RIP Hamish, you will be hugely missed

Deepest condolances. cant believe what happened. i remember the three of us tania hamish and i getting up to mischevous mainly because hamishwas the instegator lol. tearing up the padocks making huts in the shed that grandad got caught up in, which we got in trouble. but all in good fun. he never had a bad word about anyone. bigest heart. what a loss. love from graeme and wayne otway. you were the best cousin anyone could have.

Was very saddened and shocked to hear of Hamish´s passing. Taken much too young. I have fond memories of Hamish as a flat mate in Blenheim, and especially when he put his handy-man skills to work and fixed my washing machine as a student in Chch when I called out to him for "help"!! He was the quintessential kiwi bloke, ever the handy man and always willing to work hard with a very dry wit. May he rest in peace. To all those who knew and loved him- especially his partner and young boys, as well as parents and siblings, you´re in my thoughts as you navigate the difficult days, weeks and months ahead. I hope you have a lovely send off to remember him on Friday.
