Dear Liz very sorry to hear of the passing of Murray.
My brother Andrew also died on the 16th April at Christchurch Nurse Maude. I would have loved to catch up with you but under the circumstances I was fully tied up with my family. My deepest sympathy to you and your family

I was saddened with the news that Murray has passed away. My sincerest condolences to Murray's family at this very difficult time. I knew Murray in the 1980s when our paths crossed. At the time both Murray and myself were enrolled in doctoral study (PhDs) in Psychology and spent many days together in the psychology department. From memory, Murray had just returned from working in Australia, the University of New England at Armidale I think to take up a job at the University of Canterbury and also decided to enrol in a PhD in Psychology. I also think it might have been when in Australia where Murray met his wife (but again my memory might be wrong here). I found Murray a very generous and supportive colleague always willing to help and share his wisdom. Rest in peace Murray.
