MOORE, Muriel Emily
(nee Garforth):
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, surrounded by her loving family at Anthony Wilding Retirement Village, aged 74 years. Mum fought a courageous battle with Leukemia inspiring us all with her positive attitude towards her illness. Dearly loved wife of the late Derek. Much loved Mum to Richard and Maureen; Karen, Kate; Andrew and Michelle; Jason and Cherie; Martin and Tracy. Adored Grandma to 15 grandchildren. Loved sister to Raeleen. Special thanks to the extended family and friends, Dr Danielle Brown of the Halswell Medical Centre, The Haematology Unit at Christchurch Hospital and Nurse Maude. Donations to Nurse Maude, in lieu of flowers, gratefully accepted. Messages for Muriel's family may be posted to The Moore Family, C/- PO Box 37006, Halswell, Christchurch. A celebration of Muriel's life will be held at The Vineyard @ Rossendale, 100 Old Tai Tapu Road, Tomorrow (Thursday), at 10.00am, followed by burial at the Sydenham Cemetery at 1.30pm.
