Fr Tim was one of our oldest friends . He and my parents Nuala and Ted Mccormack came from the same town in Ireland . He was dearly loved by all the McCormacks and I am especially happy I saw him recently . His loss is deeply felt by those left without him Jennie Regan Seattle USA

Father Timothy Hannagan as he was known then in Whangamomona Parish was very much appreciated and enjoyed. A highly anticipated guest at Sunday Lunch and the occassional duck shooting session. His cheery face and ready smile combined with a lovely Irish accent will always be remembered by the Lobb & Murphy families from Whangamomona. Arohanui and Rest in Peace - Karen Lobb-Doyle

Fr Tim, you were a humble and kind man and if the world was full of more people more like you, it would be a better place to live. Your funeral today was a credit to who you were and how you touched all our lives. Yes I will miss you but I am so grateful that had time in your presence. Rest in peace my friend.

Father Tim Hannigan,
You were such a lovely person. Kind and caring, especially to those who needed it most. Your saying "they are the heart and soul of the Parish" (referring to the children) was very true for you too. You were very much the heart and soul of our parish, and it will be empty for a while without you. I bet you are enjoying yourself with the man upstairs. Rest in peace.

Rest In Peace Father Tim. We will always remember you as a loving and caring person helping anyone in need (living out the Gospel). You had a wonderful sense of humour. We always looked forward to you celebrating the mass with us. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you Father Tim for your love, time and faithfulness. There is going to be an immense gap that in time i am sure the Lord will fill. The children will miss your weekly blessing and of course the Father Tim phrase " Children are the heart and the soul of the parish"

Tim was a fantastic priest, a caring and wonderful friend and a great human being. His sense of humour, his wise counsel and accepting open heart made him one of the great priests of our generation. Monica and I, Courtney and Charlotte will always hold him close to our hearts and in our prayers.
