My sincere condolences to Mona´s family. She was a lovely lady and always kept an eye on my mum & dad, especially dropping a meal to him after mum died. She then took it upon herself to make sure that I was okay and ringing me to check in on me. She was incredibly caring towards dad and our family. Her love & energy & caring of my parents was what I will always remember and cherish. I always look at her house as I drive past when on my travels down Rattray Street. She will always be remembered and sorely missed.

Hello all
It is a testament to Aunty Mona's wonderful nature that everyone who knew Mona geld her in such high regard.
From the many she nursed and cared for over many years, as was her calling, to all her friends and family.
She was always there to advise and encourage, and her wisdom and kindness are well known.
She traveled down for our mum's 70th birthday, where we all had a wonderful night and shared a lovely photo together, insisted on by her even though mum was notoriously camera shy, one didn't say no to Mona. :) And again sadly at mum's funeral, with gentle words and loving arms.
As she moves on with the next chapter of this journey I like to imagine all those who have gone before us welcoming her with joy. Love and God bless
Claire Procter and family.

I have had lovely chats with Mona over the years about our lovely neighbourhood and about nursing and doctoring stories from the past and about the state of the healthcare system. You will be greatly missed Mona.

I know Mona as a neighbour and friend in Arthur St. My kitchen window looks directly across to her lounge. I will miss her energy and chats and interest in everybody. I was told she was the kindest Sister at Dunedin Hospital Emergency Dept.
