Miss Thomson was a hard working, dedicated member of the Timaru Hospital staff. I remember the sessions we had preparing for the medical terminology exams back in the 70's. R.I.P. Miss Thomson.

I remember Miss Thomson well she took a risk, to use her words, in employing me as a single parent with two young children - that was in early 1986 and I have only recently taken voluntary redundancy to hopefully make room for younger staff. She taught me a lot, she was by the book, and I enjoyed seeing her from time to time at the hospital and around town. She told me to call her Mollie but I just couldn“t bring myself to do that! Rest in Peace now Miss Thomson
